Business owners can also make their website into a great marketing tool.  With SEO search engine optimization and SEM search engine marketing, businesses can promote their products and services in a way to bring new customers everyday.  Internet users for the most part search in a few specific ways.  They use the keywords and location to try and narrow down the search to what they are looking for and the area closest to them.  It is important to design your website in a way that it is relevant to your business and very detailed in what you do. 

When hiring someone to build your website, don’t just look for someone that says “Hey I am a great web designer”.  Look for someone that is a great web designer but also is willing to take the time to learn about your business and identify the areas that are most important to you.  You really want to make sure that your website is reaching the customers you are looking for and represents your business.  Remember your website is kind of like your resume online, and sometimes you only get that first impression to your potential customers.
